ACTS OF COMPASSION HAVE THE POWER TO CHANGE THE LIVES OF FAMILIES

Our volunteers are the foundation of our organization. Without local volunteers, we wouldn't be able to continue to run our shelter program. Most of our long-term volunteers are partnered with congregations in the area. However, we have a number of volunteer opportunities that help run Family Promise of Great Denver.

We have opportunities to assist families directly on the phone, partner with our staff to run fundraisers, or help us maintain our daysite. There are lots of ways to get involved.

“One of my favorite memories from volunteering was back during the first year we hosted in 2019 and I drove the van on Sunday mornings. I remember one of the families commenting on what a great week it was for them and that they were sad to leave. It wasn’t because of any one person that made them feel this way, it was because our entire team gave them this positive experience and impacted their life. It was really cool to hear,” states Pastor Brett.”
